• Spring Black Bears In Newfoundland/Labrador

  Week 1

  Backwoods Boys Dan Wallace and Matt Hayes are fired up. That's because they're heading all the way up to Newfoundland/Labrador to hunt with Todd and Laura Wiseman with Newfoundland Adventures. Newfoundland is known for BIG animals, and the bears are no exception. Jump behind Dan and Matt as they pursue big-headed bruins this week.

• Spring Black Bears In Manitoba

  Week 2

  It's the Spring black bear season in Manitoba, and Karl and Dan are gearing up for the trip. They're hunting with Ron Chekosky at Big Antler Outfitters. Manitoba is known for big black bears as well as having a high percentage of color-phase bears.

• Ontario's Fall Black Bear Season - Part 1

  Week 3

  One of our favorite times of the year is the Fall Ontario black bear season. It's just what the doctor ordered while you're waiting for the whitetail season to open. This week, the Backwoods Boys are in the North of Superior Tourism region of Ontario with Gary and Maggie Dorion at the Hillsport Hillton.

  This week, we're back with Gary and Maggie Dorion at the Hillsport Hillton with the Backwoods Boys, and then we'll follow Karl up to Black Bear Adventures at Dog Lake Resort with John Covello and Paul DelPino to wrap up the Fall bear season.

• Spring Bears In Saskatchewan

  Week 5

  On this episode of Excalibur's Huntin' the Backwoods, Jerry Niffenegger and Jim Radtke head north to Saskatchewan to hunt with Brad Cramer at Bear Paw Outfitters. Northern Saskatchewan is famous for its bear hunting - with record-book size bears and lots of color-phase.

• Sunshine State Hogs

  Week 6

  This week, Dan Wallace is pairing up with Excalibur's Bill Troubridge and heading to the Sunshine State for wild hogs. The hog population is astounding, but Dan and Bill did their best to help cull the herd.

• On Safari In South Africa

  Week 7

  Ready for something a little different? This week we're leaving the Backwoods and following Bill & Kath Troubridge from Excalibur Crossbows as they hop on a plane for the long trip to Ingogo Safaris in South Africa. This week, they're pursuing plains game. Don't miss the Kath's giraffe...

• Ontario Moose Hunting

  Week 8

  This week, Dan Wallace is heading north to Ontario for a Moose hunt with Bud Dickson at Bud's Quetico Country Hunts. He's putting Buck Bomb's Moose Bomb and the Excalibur Equinox to the task as he takes his first moose in Ontario.

• Early Season Whitetails in Ohio and Kentucky

  Week 9

  This week on Excalibur's Huntin' the Backwoods, Paul Payne, Dan Wallace, and Eric Edwards fire up the whitetail season in Ohio and Kentucky. The boys are taking the Excalibur Equinox into the woods for early season whitetails.

• October Bucks

  Week 10

  It's October, and the bucks are firing up. This week we'll jump behind Dan Wallace's nephew Ryan Hickey as the Excalibur Equinox brings him his biggest buck to date. Then we'll catch Matt Hayes with his Alpine Silverado bow scoring on a nice October buck, and ten year-old Jacob Metzler, on his first hunt takes his first deer.

• Bluegrass Bucks

  Week 11

  This week, on Excalibur's Huntin' the Backwoods we'll spend some time with Jerry Peterson, the Callmaster, from Woods Wise Products. He's taking his new call, The Super Hot Ma-Mah, to Kentucky to put it to the test. After an up-close encounter with a small buck, we see the effectiveness of the Super Hot Ma-Mah as he scores on a great Kentucky buck. We'll also follow Eric Edwards into the woods with the Excalibur Equinox for an Ohio hunt.

• Late Season Whitetails

  Week 12

  On this episode of Excalibur's Huntin' the Backwoods, Jerry Niffenegger scores on a big Ohio buck with the Excalibur Equinox, then Karl Metzler puts a Lightfield slug into a pesky coyote. A little later in the season, Karl takes a wide Ohio buck during the black powder season, and we'll follow Bill Goodin's son, Baylee, as he takes his first buck during the Ohio shotgun season.
