Backwoods Boys Jerry and Jim packed their bags and traveled up to northeastern Saskatchewan for a spring bear hunt with Brad Cramer at Bear Paw Outfitters. Bear Paw operates in an area famous for black bear hunting. It's not uncommon to find cinnamon, chocolate and perfectly blonde color phase bears in this region. Add to that a large population of bears and plenty of record book bears, and you have an ideal black bear hunt destination.

Bear Paw Outfitters base camp is situated a half mile from Deschambault Lake in a low-pressure hunting zone.
